Hello Scooter Shackers, I'm Mike and here is a picture of my BTM BT125-T12, very little modification done so far basically when I bought it it was all scuffed up, run like crap and had silver flames , SO... I removed the crappy silver flames and T-cut the whole bike twice every 3-4 layers to cover up scuffs and scratches as it looked like someone had cleaned it with a scouring pad then I bought a new battery as the old one would not hold the charge so every time I wanted to use my scooter I had to kick start it (The new battery solved this problem) then I gave it an oil change (I used semi-synthetic 10w40) and gave the exhaust and other parts a good painting with high temperature paint and ought a set of new light weight mirrors and that's basically all I've done so far. Hoping to do a lot more soon but I need to ask a question to you guys is a 125cc 4-stroke restricted as I've heard they are but I've read that they are so if anyone can educate me in this subject id be grateful, Thanks for spending the time reading my post I hope you can all help me and hope to hear form some of you soon.
wouldn't really bother making it any faster 65 is good id say if you really want more speed 180cc kit sports exhaust bigger carb open air filter race cdi youll spend around £200 to gain 10mph max
true thanks mate i might just leave it stock might get a new exhaust tho what else is required if i install an aftermarket exhaust?
I know Conver93, i would love a aerox or something but i couldnt ride about on a 50cc i love my 125's too much lmao
I have an' aerox and its drinks fuel ... 4 strokes are hard to tune up (personal experience ....piece of sh*t) .. If you want to get a fast scooter just get a 50cc Aerox and put a 70 big bore onit and variator ... they will do about 70 if done right and will have better acceleration
