Hi all Ive rebuilt and sold my Dylan however the guy has contacted me saying its losing power and cutting out. it starts straight back up revs fine but as soon as you drive down the road it does the same thing the bike is now getting returned to me and refunded i never had a issue with the ped it driven lovely with no problems i did however top up the oil but i was told that i may have put too much in as it was on its stand the dipstick gives you and incorrect level if this is correct would this cause the loss of power?
    any ideas would be great

    Thanks in advance

If it was a private cash sale he ain't got a chance of getting his money back.he picked it up,had a ride and probaly had a fiddle about and nawsed it up..tell him to go swivel.even if he took it to court and won you can pay in drips...they wont get any joy ..he bought it...no guarantees/warranty .

Well just an update....i phoned the nob last nite and spoke to his mrs hes now happy with the bike now ...apparently she claims the positive terminal on the battery was loose he evidently tightened it up and its now alive i don't quite believe that like as ive started up scooters via car battery and ran then up the road with no battery and that never happened however they were only 50cc engines but i don't see the difference between a 50 and a 125.Think he was just being a funny C**t....lol
