First off let me say i'm new to the place and will be looking to further my somewhat shameful knowledge of scooters lol, i have a 05 peugeot ludix snake, de-restricted, it did have a malossi belt and light rollers dont know which ones all i can say it was super quick off the line, untill they went flat, so i took it to aye gees (motorcycle shop) to get repaired and they must of put heavy ass ones in coz its slow terrible pulling away, 2-5 MPH? so onto my question lol,
Im looking to buy a air filter from either pedstop or scooter attack, but dont know which one to really buy?, and if so what would need doing to the carb? cheers peeps

find out the roller weight of the good ones you had in them if you still have them by weighing them

and buy a new set and fit

yes you need to upjet by approx 8-10 sizes and also lighten the roller weight a touch more than before

but to be honest its not worth adding the filter in my opinion, it doesnt make it go any faster it makes more people look at you when you go past and think what the fuck is that horrible noise? and also dramatically increases fuel consumption by ALOT defeating really the object that a "ped" once was a able cheap fun method of transportation

up to you really to spend more money sounding like an agonising constant fart and lining gordon browns tax pockets to pay for it

this can usually lead to more attention like i said and also attract more attention from old bill too.

ow and by the way matey welcome to scooter shack by far the best english scooter forum in the world ;)

Airfilters are a waste of money in my experience, you'll need a better setup to make it worthwhile. I'd save up for an exhaust or a 70cc kit as both will make a better sound and give some more poke to your scooter. I'd recommend the Leovinci Tt as a budget pipe as they also come with rollers and clutch springs for your particular bike.

    :welcome:

save up 100 of the queens finest pound coins, then take them to you local scooter shop and order a sport 70 kit, some bigger jets and a few differnt roller sets, then u will notice a big differnce in performance :pimp:
