I've Google them but best I can find is a kit but it's in Italy and postage is 50% of the fee [emoji32]
I'm very tempted to buy a typhoon engine runner 180 but don't want to sink too much money into this bike.

Will 125cc 4t variator and rollers work?

Hello mate, might be a bit more easy if you describe exact model - sure ther'd be a few/self included that would have a look about for you.Mk.
(Try orderering stuff from Asia, postage more than often can work more than 100%):(.

    Its an 07 Piaggio Zip 100cc. 4t
    Made in china.
Its not too bad for a odd but I'd like a bit more acceleration. My mechanic said varistor and rollers will help.. I can't find a performance exhaust either.. Maybe the stock exhaust is restricted? Engine is m252m model by foshan piaggio.
I'm not a 17 year old wanting silly speed from a low power commuter.. I just like to improve stuff. If I could afford it is put a runner 180 engine in it or get the 198cc big bore kit from polini but it's 300 quid lol

Only have a lil Zip 50 4t '06' self just as a backup bike, exhaust is not restricted/restriction is by single wire in cdi & spacer(s) in throttle linkage.
Have a quick look around for you.
Found power filter helps top end, slays low down though...Mk.

Open air filter you mean? My mechanic said standard box is better.

Gonna check the cdi too. I'm tempted to try and get a cheap 2t engine.

Fitted an open filter to mine(uni, came with multi adapters) cause airbox was a cable tie miracle.:).
you may want to check Polini ot Malossi for sure for rollers - sadly i think variator for yours that they have may be year specific.
Found a nice performance Technigas GP4 exhaust for my 50 but oddly not 100,would say dependant on your budget /to get one knocked up.,best of luck, off to work now.Mk

....just. a thought, know anyone coming back from Italy.?...;).
    We did'nt half pick a model to buy,eeh.:),almost bought a Zip 100 in Jan./15.:):).
On another note, performance exhausts (unless made),don't seem to exist for the 100 Zip - if your thinking of knocking one together yourself...how about looking at the HUUUGE range of endcans/chinese made, insanely cheap & most of them describe the type of noise change they would make over standard.Mk.

The 100cc is what it is, if you want to play making things faster then I'd suggest buying something else, trying to fit a Typhoon engine would be a problem, just buy a complete Typhoon!

Apparently typhoon/runner and 2t zip engines bolt straight on. No mods to mounts. Ill probably just leave it unless i get offered a cheap engine. Its adequate for my city needs. Just miss the 2t acceleration. My mates got a 70cc slider and it pisses all over mine. Not top speed but off the mark his is a wheelie machine. Id never ridden a tuned 50cc ped before and was surprised hiw quick it was.

Now ive got a Yammy Slider ew50 with 70cc kit and Leo Vince pipe. Needs a few touches as the previous owner fell off a few days b4 i bought it. Which helped my bartering position [emoji38]
Also have a cat b'd Yammy Rxs100 which only needs new forks and a bit of tlc to pass an mot which will thrn mean when i apply for log book and the dvla investigate it will no longer be a write off and im going to turn it into a retro trials style bike. Such an amazing engine in them yammy100's. 70mph easily stock. Tuned will do 85/90. Really popular in India.
The Slider needs a gear up kit i think. Im not sure what 70cc kit was used or if it been jetted properly but it is crazy quick off the line but tops out around 45mph. Im hoping with a different sprocket it will be less wheelie happy and have a better spread of torque. I dont even mind if the top end diesnt increase as long as the power is spread more evenly through the band.
Am also contemplating ratting it matt black and either trying a 90cc kit or swapping out the engine for a 125cc 2t. I hear there are complete 90cc minarreli mounted engines from a Mexican moped builder.

Heavier rollers and a gear up kit will tame it a bit, 45mph is a bit low but that depends on the kit fitted. If it's one of the cheaper kits then yeah, it won't have the poke that you'd get from Malossi/Polini/PMTuning.
As for the RXS, plenty around.
Could give me the diameter of the forks legs could you?
    I have my reasons.....................

Thanks for that, grabbing at ideas, but I have a 1975 RS100, not the rsx, and want new fork stanchions for it. Just the chrome parts not the lowers. Just wondering about stuff before i start the serious building.
