Hi today I started my Yamaha aerox and I told was running for a bout 50 minutes in my garden and all I a sudden it died out and I have tried to kick the kick start but it's jammed/locked up
did you have enough mixing oil in the oil bottle, running the scooter without oil will cause it to become very hot and sieze up. check the oil level in bottle if its totaly empty you could be into a much bigger problem. NEVER trust the bike to indicate when its low on oil you should check this oil bottle every couple three days and top it up . remove variator cover and check kickstart mech is not jammed up causing you to not be able to kickstart scooter. remove spark plug with the variator cover off turn the variator with your hand it should rotate and piston will rise and fall, if its jammed solid you have heat siezed the scooter and it will require a new piston and possibley a new cylinder.
